Barack Obama has told the press his white grandmother feels fear when she sees a young black man on the street. But what is she afraid of? She is afraid of becoming a white victim of black crime, something not unheard of in Americafarm. I know an old white lady who has had her purse stolen three times, each time by a black man. Once a young black man entered the card shop where she worked, knocked over a rack of cards, and then stole her purse from behind the counter when she went to clean up the mess. (He then took her purse to Sears and bought some tires.) The next time she was walking across a parking lot, and a black man walked by her, pretending to limp. When he got close, he snatched her purse and ran away. The last time she was in a Backyard Burgers at a booth with her elderly husband and her purse was on the seat next to her. A young black man walked by, grabbed her purse and ran out the door. As you can see, none of these events happened on a public street. These black men were out, prowling around, looking for unsuspecting old white ladies to victimize. But such is the quaint nature of “discussing race” in Americafarm that we just pretend that white ladies afraid of blacks are the problem here! We’re funny that way!
